Works.ĭoes anybody have any ideas? I've had the game before, a couple years back, on this exact same laptop so I have no idea why I can't get this working now. I've tried redownloading the OrangeEmu files several times. I've tried disabling virtualization, no dice there either. So, I've done antivirus exclusions thing on Avast AND Defender, plus tried disabling them both too. I've tried so many different ways to fix the issue that I've found here among other websites.
After that, each time I've tried to open the game the infamous OrangeEmu.DLL 'Hello ' followed by the (0xc0000142) error pops up. The first time I opened the game it managed to get to the main loading screen before crashing my computer. So upon installing The Sims 4 I've come across this issue. I'm re-posting this here because I'm new to the forum and originally posted this on The Sims Emporium.
